The Inside Scoop

I first heard about the Inside scoop from a group case project in one of my MBA classes.  Then when I saw a Groupon for it I knew it would be a good excuse to give a local business a visit.

The place is brightly painted and clean.  The location isn’t the best as it is stuck inside an older shopping center and the sign isn’t very big.  Both times I’ve visited other customers were in there though so I guess somehow they are getting the word out.

The Inside Scoop offers a large variety of Hershey ice cream flavors, sundaes as well as hot dogs and soft pretzels.  There is a large room towards the back with extra seating that we only found out about because no other seats were open.  The prices were good and flavor great.  But then again I love most any ice cream I’ve tried! J

Because of the location, I don't know how often I'll visit here. But I did have a good ice cream experience when I went.

A Mini Ice Cream Experience

My brother bought me a 3.6oz of Ben and Jerry's Mint Chocolate Cookie ice cream the other day.  It's such a cute size and he said it was only 75cents!  He really does love me! haha :-)

Mint Chocolate is one of my favorite types of ice cream so I was as excited about the flavor as I was the packaging!  Most mint chocolate ice creams have a green tint because it's mint ice cream with chocolate chips.  However this ice cream wasn't green.  Maybe because the instead of chocolate chips the mint was in the chocolate cookie.  Anyways, it came with a little plastic spoon in the lid but wasn't very sturdy and didn't hold very much so that didn't last me long.

I absolutely LOVED the serving size.  It was perfect to enjoy the taste and I didn't feel like I got carried away and ate too much (as it is VERY easy to do with ice cream!)

I think next time I'm in the grocery store I may check out what other flavors they have as well.  As you can see I enjoyed every bite of it!
